Amanda Callan started making her own soap twelve years ago when she was pregnant and couldn't find a single baby soap with ingredients she felt good about. So she made one herself. Today, Herb Remedy is her Byron Bay-based line of botanical skincare and remedies. Amanda's a qualified naturopath who's been refining traditional soapmaking for over a decade. Each bar starts with Australian olive and coconut oil, then gets layered with herbal-infused oils, organic botanicals, mineral-rich clays, and pure essential oils. No synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, or petroleum.

Her approach is simple: short ingredient lists, traditional methods, and let the plants do their job. She's not trying to complicate things, just make products that actually work. The range has grown beyond soap to include balms, creams, oils, herbal teas, tinctures, and personalised naturopathic remedies from her Byron Bay dispensary. A lot of it came from her own family's needs. She's a mother of four boys, so chest rubs for colds, comfrey balm for scrapes, chickweed salve for bites. Practical things that solve real problems.
